The newly inaugurated Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo start his first day at work by holding a meeting with the ministry top officials on Friday morning.
The meeting, which was started at around 8 a.m., was attended by the new Deputy Finance Minister Anny Ratnawati and first and second echelons officials.
News portal kompas.com reported that former finance minister Sri Mulyani was scheduled to attend the meeting but it did not say whether Mulyani came.
The new minister and his deputy were inaugurated by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the State Palace on Thursday as Mulyani will start a new job as one of the World Bank’s managing directors later in May.
