Malaysia’s New Business Program to Offer More Benefits for e-Commerce Companies

Malaysia based business company, iSynergy assures prospective consumers to earn more benefits through new affiliate program namely, Smart$aver (Smart Saver) in Indonesia. Although the program is based on e-Commerce business, but Smart Saver is quite different from another company in the country. “We are different from Lazada (German based), Blibli, Zalora, Agoda, et cetera. We are not running e-commerce by ourselves, but we are driving sales to them,” YD Leong, Business Strategy & Operations of iSynergy told IM during the launch of Smart Saver in Jakarta (12/6).

The new program, Smart Saver is an affiliate under the retail segment that is designed to truly capture both consumers and advertises. Besides, Smart Saver is basically a provider to the values which are desired by both consumers and advertisers. “if consumer go to Lazada, Blibli, they will not get any benefit. They pay for the product only. But if they (consumers) become members of Smart Saver, they go through (e-commerce), they will get rewards namely cash point. That is the different between e-commerce and our affiliate business,” said YD Leong.

The program is powered by affiliate marketing. Smart Saver provides a unique retail ecosystem which offers its users the best deals. Besides that, the business program will maximize the sales potential of its advertises, as well as provide the avenue for affiliates in promoting Indonesia’s retail industry. There is one or two similarities between iSynergy’s program and other e-Commerce company. Consumers can use either Debit Card of Credit Card to buy particular products as they choose from the website. “It is all the same, they (consumers) find products through website, and click on Lazada or Blibli. The products which are found are the same. But if they attend Smart Saver membership, (the e-Commerce such as Lazada, Blibli) get promotions through affiliation. We provide commission fee to our affiliated partners, or cash back to consumers,” Dato Lawrence Teo, Chief Executive Officer iSynergy told IM (12/6).

The launch marks Smart Saver foray into Indonesia’s online retail sphere. iSynergy Management Team have arranged partnership with a variety of advertisers. The partnership will not only cover well known international e-commerce websites such as Lazada, Zalora, Agoda, but also notable Indonesian brands including MatahariMall., Elevenia, Berrybenka, Blibli. The hallmark of Smart Saver also revolves around the excellent retail privileges which are ready to be enjoyed by its members. Smart Saver takes shopping smart and saving smart to an entirely new level with its easily accessible platform and simple mechanism. “Smart Saver was launched in Malaysia on May 2016. The transaction value has achieved 5 – 8 million Malaysia Ringgit (MYR). But if we see the population of Indonesia, which is eight times more than Malaysia (30,33 million), the transaction value will surely double, even triple higher (than the one in  Malaysia),” Said Dato Lawrence Teo.

 

Smart Saver will also begin its offline operations which will be effective after iSynergy complete the ecosystem of retail. The program will cover both offline and online business environment that equally offer the same excellent benefits and services. “Retailers and e-commerce will be equal (to the transaction) when consumers use both offline and online. We will bring customers to outlets (of retailers), and deal with commission fee (arrangement). If customers are not driven (to e-commerce), there will be no fixed cost. Both offline and online are basically the same. Both programs will arrange commission fee for advertisers. We use Smart Saver, using affiliation to all online retailers,” said Dato Lawrence Teo.
