Palimo, July 13, 2021/Indonesia Media – The vice-regent of Parigi Moutong (Parimo), central Sulawesi, H. Badrun Nggai said that the shrimp farming company, PT Parigi Aquakultura Prima, located in Sejoli village, Moutong district has modernity and sustainable production.   “The shrimp farming, Sejoli is modern and sustainable, and has become an asset for the local people in Parigi Moutong. Sejoli shrimp farming deserves praise and pride for the local people and the government of Parimo,” said the Vice-regent. H. Badrun Nggai.

He added that the people of Parimo should maintain and take benefits of the farming company, PT Parigi Aquakultura, since that is the icon of sustainability of Parimo. The icon is established by big efforts and sacrifices, till the local people and government can achieve the result. “Therefore, we are supposed to maintain that I have followed from the beginning (of farming) till seeds restocking. Thank God, it has yielded (shrimps). I told Mr. Rudy Hartanto (the director of PT Parigi Aquakultura Prima) that we have to assure the people whatever the result,” said H. Badrun Nggai

He reiterated that the head of Moutong district and the director of PT Parigi Aquakultura should commit to employ local people, and will not employ the workers from outside. Moreover, the vocational training center for fish farmers will be established soon. Young people have to attend the center. After finishing the vocational program, they will be employed by one of the two shrimp farming companies, either Tomoli of Sejoli farming,” said H. Badrun Nggai. (sl/IM)
