RSSN Sticks to Consistency of Charity when Commemorating 33th Anniversary

Jakarta, September 2, 2024/Indonesia Media – The management of Satya Negara hospital (RSSN) Sunter, north Jakarta commemorated the 33th anniversary in a modest environment, while continuing a similar program of organizing medical services for charity targeting the local people residing around the hospital. Besides that, the management keeps improving patients service quality by renewing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a medical device using magnetic technology to identify the health check. “Till today, MRI is still in process trials. Next week, it will be in use. The MRI, with up-to-date technology, surely will increase the quality of examining patients’ organs, tissues and skeletal system during the surgery,” said Judi Djohari, one of the founders of RSSN.
RSSN’s vision & mission is not merely profit-oriented, but an urgency to provide good health services, help people especially those who reside around the hospital. Therefore the medical costs including the availability of medical devices such as MRI are big considerations. Even in the Sunter area, where many hospitals can be found, RSSN’s medical devices are actually the most up-to-date. “ROI (return of investment) has been concluded in the next 10 years. As we commit to help the people with affordable medical costs, and available medical devices. The old MRI has been sold, when replacing the old one (into the new MRI), there is no activity for examining patients for two or three weeks,” said Judi Djohari.
Meanwhile, the neurosurgeon of RSSN, Prof. Satyanegara hopes RSSN’s 33th anniversary would be accompanied by the improvement of doctors, nurses services towards the patients. When patients visit the hospital in such comfortable and convenient situations, it would be helpful for fast relief of suffering (sickness). Flashback depicting the establishment of RSSN, there was an interesting story of giving the name to the hospital. Satya Negara hospital or RSSN is true, using his name, Professor Satyanegara, but there is a difference in half space (in giving the name, Satya Negara and Satyanegara). That was, when Judi Djohari and Prof. Satyanegara registered the hospital in the Ministry of Law of the Republic of Indonesia for legalization including permits. The process of legalization took place under the condition of Satyanegara himself. “Here I am (Professor Satyanegara), he is still alive, therefore the name cannot be used for the name of an institution. Finally, Satyanegara turned Satya Negara (with a half space in giving name to the hospital). That was because of the name, I am likely to be tied up, and cannot run. That is true, that the name of a person or institution will influence. My condition, after RSSN established, I was likely losing my freedom,” said Prof. Satyanegara making a joke in front of the audience during the 33th anniversary commemoration. (LS/IM)
