PU’s Medical Faculty, KAPLAN USA Offers Opportunities of Specialist Doctor Program

Bekasi, March 8, 2024/Indonesia Media – Students of President University (PU)’s medical faculty earned opportunity to continue their studies with specialist doctor in United States of America (USA) for free. “Attending the program (of specialist doctor) in USA for free, after graduting from PU’s medical faculty can be obtained since there is a partnership between PU and KAPLAN,” said the advisor to PU’s rector, Charles Saerang Ong.
Besides that, the participants of specialist doctor program would receive salary amounting to 70.000 (seventy thousand) US dollar per year. Charles reiterated, so far there has never been any university in Indonesia which provide prospective opportunities for students to continue their studies with specialist doctor for free. Meanwhile, students of medical faculty in Indonesia often find it tough and spend more money till they graduate. “for the opportunity (of continuing study) specialist doctor program in USA, students have to fulfill requirements which have been prepared by both PU and KAPLAN,” said Charles Saerang.
According to him, the presence of PU’s medical faculty is offering more to accomplish the ideal number of newly graduated doctors, as what has been expected by the government of Indonesia. Moreover, there will be specialist doctors coming from USA to accomplish the goal of Indonesian health development, either specialist doctor or general practitioner to treat people with multiple health issues.
Meanwhile, Gilang from KAPLAN Medical Representative explained that, he supports PU’s medical students who want to continue their studies with specialist doctors in USA for free. Every student of FK, who wants to continue his/her study, KAPLAN will train him/her to meet the international standard in USA. “For them who have graduated from about four test from KAPLAN, they can continue their studies with any specialist which is available in USA for free, till they graduate and obtain pocket money amounting to 70.000 (seventy thousand) US Dollar in maximum per year, equal to one billion rupiah,” he said.
