Hidden Culinary gems in Banyumas, Serving Local Fare of Tahu

Banyumas, March 9, 2019/Indonesia Media – Banyumas area in Central Java is said to be one of the best area to taste tahu in various dishes and guests, when driving just trail his car along the street, Tambaksogra Sumbang till they can find one good restaurant.

Some restaurants operator serve tahu, tempe mendoan as menu since Banyumas has been well known for the food.

Some operators along Tambaksogra street also put the word ‘tahu’ for naming and labelling their restaurants such as Tahu Mang Eman. 

Besides, they always need to create a very relax and cozy atmosphere either for family gathering or business meeting while also enjoying tahu.“So far, our visitors come from the area, (namely) Banyumas, Purwokerto.

But during long weekend, school holiday, some visitors come from Jakarta, Bandung, Tasikmalaya (west Java). We serve delicious tahu with variety, including the one with (the mixture of) chicken meat, fish meat.

 Our guests can feel different when visiting our restaurant. We offer (building) design back to nature when people sit under gazebo enjoying the food. Besides, the design offers best view of green-green grass of gazebo,” said Astri (25), the owner of the restaurant Tahu Mang Eman. (sl/IM)
