A Dental Implant Seminar was held in Glendora, CA in the Indonesia Media Hall on Thursday, August 19, to educate dentists on the process and equipment used for implants.
Dr. Shervin Molayem DDS, a graduate from UCLA who specialized in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at USC and who then went on to lecture internationally, was the night’s speaker. After dinner, Dr. Molayem spoke about the growing industry and accessibility of performing dental implants.
With their 98% success rate, dental implants are a new alternative to patients that want the comfort and lasting results that dentures or bridges may lack. The lecture was followed with a live demo on a model using kits and implants from HIOSSEN. Dentists were then allowed hands on to try out the equipment for themselves. This event is made by Indonesian Dentist Society in Southern California following the recent Indonesian Dentist Reunion on January this year.
