Attending HKTDC, Indonesian company attempts to attract investment

Jakarta, January 24, 2024/Indonesia Media – Indonesian manufacturing company for bicycles and children toys, Eko Wibowo and other business attending Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, HKTDC a few days ago, attempted to attract investment and explore the markets including Russia. The Indonesian business, PT Pangeran Maju Bahagia (PMB) which is a joint venture between Indonesia & China met with some importers during the fair. PMB has agreed to export motor accu-battery motor toys that children can steer the front wheels. “Indonesian local products are improving, and ready to export after we attended the fair in Hong Kong. When making transactions, we assured (prospective investors) that PMB’s products are certified. We apply the quality management standards and the products have met the requirement of an Indonesian National Standard or SNI,” said Eko Wibowo.
Indonesian manufacturing companies attended the fair in Hong Kong to explore international market, including the potential of PMB products. Besides, some producers in Indonesia keep improving many things including licenses. Since some of Indonesian toys have not applied for licenses which signal negative impact on business, including export markets. “License is significant. Manufacturing companies apply licenses though the cost is quite expensive. But, licenses help business to assure importers in foreign countries. This happens to PMB’s products which have applied licenses, certification, therefore (PMB)’s performance when doing business is not lower than global brands such as Honda, Mitsubishi from Japan,” said Eko Wibowo who also give consultancy for full range of testing and certification services (LSPro).
PMB, a company which has gone from zero to hero very quickly and turned leader among toys producing companies. So far, Indonesian producers are aiming at prospective domestic market. Some have started to develop export market, applied quality management certificate. Jakarta – based consulting firm, which offer full range of testing and certification services, PT IGS also makes attempt to improve industrial certification, for the benefits of all parties. The reference which is independent and has a very good reputation, also give business guarantees based on quality. “We are partnering (with business) for certification program, give congratulations to PMB which have gone exporting.
