Indonesia Media Appreciation Dinner

Glendora, December 17, 2011.

Indonesia Media held its annual appreciation dinner on Saturday Indonesia Media’s
Event Hall in Glendora to give thanks to all its staff, writers, and various contributors who
have given so much time and effort to Indonesia Media. Among all of Indonesia Media’s
supporters, the Honorable Indonesian Consul General Hadi Martono, former Arcadia
Mayor John Wuo, and former Monterey Park Mayor Lily Chen, the Representative of Asian
Journal, the Executive of New American Media, and many other distinct guests were also in
attendance.

Every year, Indonesia Media hosts its annual dinner with a night of food, dancing,
and music. The party’s buffet style layout allowed the numerous guests to dig into the
abundant amount of Indonesia food. As attendees enjoyed the food, a few brave souls
were ecstatic to partake in some festive karaoke and musical entertainment. The crowd
danced the night away up until 1:00 AM to a compilation of Christmas music, karaoke, and
a few notes from the Mr. Robert Sarwono’s saxophone. Mr. Martin Beijer and his daughter,
the musical group DMC (Dapur Music California), and Linda T., were among some of the
talented singers and musicians at the event.

Overall, the night’s event was a great success where everybody was able to enjoy the
food and the atmosphere. Indonesia Media would like to thank everybody who attended,
and even those who couldn’t, for being supporters of Indonesia Media and hope they will
continue their support for many years to come.
