However, amidst the dominance of health workers, there were also other professions including former high-ranking officials, namely former Attorney General (Nov. 2014 – Nov. 2019) Prasetyo, former Governor of Lemhanas (2011 – 2016) Budi Susilo Soepandji. In addition, there were several national private entrepreneurs such as Sofjan Wanandi (owner of the Gemala Group business. now Santini Group), Tan Kian (Dua Mutiara Group; owner of the Jw Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels). On the sidelines of the anniversary event, Prof. Satyanegara expressed his gratitude and thanks to all relatives such as the health workers of RSPP (Pertamina Central Hospital), RSSN (Satya Negara Hospital) Sunter, Tzu Chi hospital, Mayapada Lebak Bulus, and so on. Even, school friends in Semarang (Central Java), Surabaya (East Java) in the 1950s – 1960s. In his remarks, Prof. Satyanegara recalled the times when he was called by former President Soeharto in 1972 to return to Indonesia and serve at RSPP. “When I had just returned to Indonesia (September 1972), because President Soeharto asked me. After serving at RSPP, because I had already plunged into (serving) the community, my duties were threefold,” said Prof. Satyanegara who was greeted enthusiastically by the invited guests.

As a presidential medical team during the era of President Soeharto, he also had to serve his family members. He had to handle hospitals (polyclinics) owned by Pertamina in various regions such as Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), Manado (North Sulawesi), Pangkalan Susu sub-district (Langkat Regency, North Sumatra), Pangkalan Brandan (port area in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra). Initially he was assigned as the head of operations. About a year later, he was trusted to handle operating rooms in all hospitals/polyclinics owned by Pertamina. At that time, there were 15 polyclinics in several regions, and two hospitals including RSPJ (Jl. Jend. Ahmad Yani, Cempaka Putih Central Jakarta), so that the total was 17 hospitals. “Including the physical development planning of RSPP. The circulation of health workers (doctors, nurses) from end to end (the old RSPP building) is quite extensive. I dared to expand the RSPP building B which was originally only two floors, to be increased to seven floors. I made a special treatment room, room number 535 with a semi-ICU (emergency installation) design. Treatment room 535 is planned for VVIP, VIP patients. So that when treated, they do not mix with other patients. The head of state (the late Soeharto, the 2nd president of the Republic of Indonesia) also breathed his last in room 535 on January 28, 2008, where I accompanied him (as a presidential medical team) for 36 years,” said Prof. Satyanegara in front of around 700 invited guests.
