Controversy mars Seven Wonders of Nature list ( video)

Indonesia accuses organisation responsible for drawing up new list of using underhand tactics.

A campaign to name the ‘New Seven Wonders of Nature’ will announce its results on Friday.

The list, which includes Indonesia’s Komodo National Park, has been narrowed to 28 sites, but the process has attracted controversy and criticism as well.

Indonesia’s vice-minister for tourism said the company organising the competition used underhanded tactics, threatening to remove the park from the list if Indonesia refused to host a declaration ceremony for $35m.
