Performed by a hardworking group of youths from the church, the production was amazing and was proof of their obviously numerous practice sessions and effort. Hero Inc. is a modern day tale of a transformed angel-turned-superhero named the Guardian (G), who establishes Hero Inc. With help from Hero Inc. CEO, Sasha, G is called on by the city’s
G goes down into an emotion spiral and loses his will to fight for justice. With the help of Sasha, Deja, and the three orphans (Gina, Christina, and Teddy), his powers are replenished to fight his archenemy, Fahrenheit (played by Liko Sabarani), in a heated battle.
At the end of the production we were able to see a Q and A with G (played by Vincent Kurniawan), Deja (played by Charlina Gozali),
Senior Pastor Daniel Hanafi wished to convey the message and meaning of Easter in relation to the play by comparing the hero, G, to Jesus Christ. He relates the two by highlighting the major sacrifices that both made in exchange for others. Prayers to God were made that night, and the main message that recurred numerous times was to accept and receive the Lord. Senior Pastor Daniel Hanafi urged the audience to pray and open their hearts to the Lord.
