Indonesian teens taught religious tolerance


Exchange programme bringing young people from different faiths together aims to foster experience of diversity.

Recent figures suggest Indonesia’s tradition of religious tolerance is being strained.

More than 280 cases of violence were reported in the first half of this year.

But a group of volunteers is trying to tackle the problem with an exchange programme in which teenagers from different faiths live with foster families and spend time with each other.
