How to Communicate With Your Assertive Children?

A parenting seminar was held on April 26 sponsored by ICAA (Indonesian Chinese American Association) with the purpose of sharing the experiences between Indonesian parents who are having difficulty in raising their children in the U.S. . The theme of this seminar was “How to Raise Children in the U.S. ” The total interactive participants present at this event are approximately 20 people.

The seminar started around 7.30 pm and lasted for about 2 hours and was opened

with the introductions from the audience and followed by the questions and answers. Not only they shared their experiences about the difficulties in raising their assertive children, but the speaker, Virgo Handoyo, PhD who is a phycological scholar also answered the audience’s questions on how to anticipate in every issues and be a better parent. Dr. Handoyo said that children are our investment for the future. He also teaches at several universities in Southern California .
