At the Hollywood Celebrity Center , Hollywood, California Miss Asia USA is launching the celebration for the 19th Annual Cultural Pageant.
“The Miss Asia USA Cultural Pageant displays the rich ethnic diversity of our society and gives us a glimpse into the multitudes of cultures that surrounds us today,” says Virgelia Villegas, Chairman and President of Virgelia Productions, Inc. which has organized and produced the event for the past 19 years. “The delegate will not only be an epitome of beauty and intelligence but a reflection of the unity and sociability of her community.” It is our goal to unite the 58 Countries in the Asian Continent by having a representative on each country in this celebration of Culture, beauty and elegance."
Each delegate will undergo intensive training on poise lessons, public speaking, dining etiquette, proper walking, fitness, goal setting and much more. All these will be a beginning of a lifetime of experience for each of the lucky delegate that will be selected to represent her ancestry country.
“We are going to prepare these ladies not just to be their best on the competition day, but to also enhance their social skills, refined their femininity and improve their self confidence” says Virgelia Villegas.
The qualifications are: Naturally born female, from 17 to 28 years old with at least 25% Asian Ancestry. Never been married and never had any children, and must reside in the United States.

Virgelia Productions presents Miss Asia USA 19th Annual Cultural Pageant

Virgelia Productions presents the 19th Annual Miss Asia USA Cultural Pageant, a celebration of culture, beauty and elegance. Thirty delegates, drawn from all parts of the United States, whose ancestry includes forebears from any of the 58 countries in the Asian continent will compete for the title Miss Asia USA - 2007. The categories of competition include: Evening Gown; National Costume; Swim Suit; and Personality.
Running time is approximately 3 hours with no intermission, and the event is suitable for all ages. Photo/video recording by patrons is not allowed.
