Some
interesting questions asked for contestants:
Miss Taiwan, Christine Sung, answer the question about the
controversial topic Taiwan and Republic People's of China
reunification or other option, Taiwan has their independence.
Christine who was born in U.S.A. pointed to her boyfriend
sitting next to her. She said, “You see, he is from mainland
China, in Shan Dong province. We like living in peace.”
Miss Indonesia, Tantri, responded to the so called RUU Anti
Pornografi and Pornoaksi (Proposed bill of law that anti
pornography) the current controversial back home. She understands
in the contest she will be wearing some swim suit; she is
not seeing this as some sort of pornography related. However,
some of her country fellows might describe it as taboo.
She wishes her country fellows can understand and be more
educated about the norm ethic. Tantri said,” They should
focus more in their moral and fight the wide spread corruption
instead.”
